In this painting, Mark Zuckerberg is envisioned not simply as a contemporary technological figure, but as a symbolic archon of Neptune—a ruler of the invisible realm of oceans, dreams, illusion, dissolution, and the unconscious. Neptune represents a world without fixed boundaries: a vast psychic ocean in which images, identities, desires, and realities merge. Zuckerberg's association with digital networks and virtual worlds becomes, within the painting, a contemporary expression of this Neptunian domain. The screen replaces the mirror; the network becomes the ocean; and the individual enters a realm where the distinction between reality and simulation becomes increasingly fluid.
